Life can get really hectic, and most of us often don’t have time to cook a nice breakfast to start the day off right, especially through the work week. Bananas, granola bars, and meal replacement shakes are great in a pinch, but sometimes, you need something more hearty and filling. Overnight Oats are the perfect answer to your breakfast needs. Just combine the healthy ingredients in the following Decadent + Super Healthy Overnight Oat Recipes, let them sit in the refrigerator overnight, and they’ll be ready to eat in the morning. Soaking the oats overnight softens them as if they’d been cooked conventionally, so no cooking is required!
These recipes fit into pint sized mason jars, which are perfect for enjoying your breakfast on-the-go. I also like to use wide-mouth jars for ease of use. If you prefer warm oats, feel free to pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds to a minute. Some of these recipes are already vegan and are labeled as such, but even if the recipe contains some animal products like dairy milk or yogurt, it’s super easy to adapt any non-vegan overnight oats recipe to suit your dietary needs. Feel free to substitute any dairy products with your favorite non-dairy milk or vegan yogurt. Also, if you’re eating gluten free, remember to buy certified gluten free oats, since regular oats can be contaminated.
When eating healthy, people often complain they don’t have enough time to prepare healthy meals, but overnight oats are definitely the exception. It only takes about 15 minutes to make enough oats for a whole week, and with so many wonderful flavors to choose from, you’ll never get bored!

COLD BREW COFFEE [VEGAN]
Cold brew coffee is really popular right now, and you’ll find it at many coffee shops, grocery stores, and at chains like Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts. In case you don’t know, cold brew coffee brewed in room temperature or cold water for 12 to 24 hours. Fans of cold brew coffee like it because it’s smoother, less acidic, and more aromatic. I’ve tried it and think it’s pretty good, but regular black hot coffee is still my beverage of choice. If you don’t have cold brew coffee, feel free to substitute regular. This recipe is also vegan as long as you use a vegan protein powder. You can find my favorite brand of protein powder for a great price at Thrive Market!

We used to serve Tres Leches cake at a restaurant where I worked as a cook, and it was divine! These overnight oats contain almond milk and just 2 tablespoons each of evaporated and condensed milks for a slightly sinful treat that won’t wreck your diet.
