In fact, even though I was a professional cook in a fine dining restaurant for years, I was still intimidated to make my own cheesecakes – up until this past summer when I made my Lavender Honey Cheesecake for the 4th of July. 

That was the very first traditional cheesecake I had ever made, and it turned out perfect!

1. Slow Cooker Cranberry Cheesecake

Making a cheesecake in a slow cooker makes it amazingly creamy – like on a whole other level from typical oven baked cheesecakes. 

This slow cooker recipe is made perfect for the holiday season with a sweet + tart cranberry compote made on the stove top!

This cheesecake recipe is almost identical to my Lavender Honey Cheesecake Recipe, but I don’t use a water bath to bake mine (and it didn’t crack!).
