I think I’m the only one in my family who likes vanilla ice cream. Everyone else is a peanut butter and chocolate “freak.”
With this healthy version of vanilla nice cream, I can make my own favorite flavor and not feel so guilty for eating it all myself – in a few sittings, of course.
It’s also a fantastic base to add any other favorite fixin’s like coconut flakes, nuts, fruit, chocolate chips, and more.
I recently found the Whole Foods Plant Based Cooking Show on YouTube as I was researching the Nutritarian Diet, a super healthy plant based eating plan I just started this week to regain my health and lose weight.
One of my favorite recipes on the show is their Chocolate Frosty. If you’re missing this popular fast food treat, here’s a substitute that I think is actually better than the original (yea!) and incredibly easy to make!
This super simple 3-ingredient chocolate ice cream contains almond butter to make it even creamier and more filling with some healthy protein.
